A great career opportunity has arisen for someone who is looking to undergo further training and gain a Level 3 childcare qualification as a Nursery Practitioner Apprentice.
The successful candidate must have completed a level 2 childcare qualification. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and caring individual to join our team. The position is a
full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Safeguarding children and experience of observing, planning and assessing children’s development would be beneficial. Some of your responsibilities will include:
 Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
 Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to
 Ensure you are adhering to the OFSTED statutory framework
 To continually work as part of a team, supporting other practitioners within the room
 Support and mentor students
 Ensure all children’s learning Journeys are always up to date
 Assist in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring all activities are planned to help develop all aspects of the child’s development and learning for their individual needs
 Work in partnership with parents, carers and staff and assist the team within this role to promote involvement and further development of the child’s individual needs
 Maintaining a safe, secure and child caring environment for the Early Years children. You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
 NVQ (CACHE) Level 2 or equivalent
 Excellent knowledge of OFSTED standards and the EYFS curriculum
 Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
 The ability to work with early years  children and their families in a sensitive and
positive way
 Demonstrate initiative in supporting a child’s unique development
