I’m Maisie, 28 years old, a Senior Lead within the Management team who has thoroughly enjoyed working alongside babies, toddlers and preschoolers for the past 8 years. During that time I have personally welcomed and shown around many families at this lovely setting, as well as seeing individual children blossom from being tiny babies to confident, thriving preschoolers.
I have been very lucky to witness many “first steps” and “first words” within these 8 years whilst sharing these precious moments with those parents and working in partnership with those individuals to ensure each child’s development is the clear focus and priority. Everyday is different, seeing children meeting their milestones, exceeding their targets or just needing a little bit more support. We are always there to put each child’s needs first regardless of their age, stage or development. Every child deserves to be treated as an individual with their own targets which will specifically be adapted to them.
Being a Level 3 practitioner with years of experience from this setting really helped me with my own practice as I have a family of my own, a beautiful 2 year old daughter called Halo. A lot of the activities that I have done at the nursery, I also do at home too because I see how beneficial and enjoyable they are to each of the children, my own child and myself too!
