Hi, I’m Natalie and I have over 15 years experience in Early Years and joined the team at Premier Lodge in Sidcup August 2010 as Deputy Manager; becoming the Manager in 2011, then becoming an Area Manager in 2024 overseeing Heath Lodge Day Nursery. My role means a lot to me, the ethos of a home from home environment shines through and throughout my time I have been lucky enough to work with lots of children and their families, building on our parent partnerships and striving to implement new and exciting initiatives. I hold a Level 5 qualification In Early Years Leadership and Management and have attended many short courses through the Local Authority. I enjoy training as it means we keep our practice current and ensures that we continue to grow and develop all areas within Early Years which supports children’s outcomes.
Child protection is also a key focus of mine. The Safeguarding and Welfare of young children is something that I strive for, I chair the Safeguarding Networking Forum for Bexley for Managers, Designated Persons and Childminders each term. I am a Mummy and enjoy spending time with my Family and friends, running and visiting the coast and costal walks. My Son attended Premier Lodge when he was 7 months old and flourished throughout his time there. I am aware that starting Nursery can be an anxious time for parents, but hope that you feel at ease when you come and visit us and meet our friendly and dedicated teams. I am always present in the Nursery’s greeting parents, taking part in activities and seeing what exciting activities the children are getting up too. It is Important for me that I get to know all of the children and families, I am committed to establishing and maintaining effective partnerships. I will look forward to welcoming you and your child to Heath Lodge Day Nursery and supporting them on their first steps into Nursery.
